Wildlife Garden
The Viewing Hide is located at the bottom of the Garden Nursery. It is 10.8m long by 2.4m wide. It has 6 openable slits each 800mm wide and 6 large glazed windows for viewing. Seating is provided. The viewed area (about 25m square) has two ponds joined together by a stream taking overflow water from the upper pond down to the lower pond.  Rain off the hide roof is collected in 2 water butts, the overflow from which goes into the stream.  The grassy area has been turfed and the rest is in the process of being planted.   The bird feeders are well used (they need refilling daily).
